Upgrade to a Bride's Maid!

Let’s ease slooooooooowly back into post-Christmas reality, OK?  OK.  Dresses seem like a good way to start, and I’ve chosen to show off Liz Fields’ “Lo-Ve-La” collection:

When you are properly caffeinated come back to tell me which dress is your favorite! And if you are wearing/did wear anything by Liz Fields to your wedding, please share! I am a little bit in love with the first one  – I think it would make a darling reception frock.

Also…I’m dying to hear what you all got for Christmas! Please leave big paragraph comments detailing all the goodies Santa brought you. 🙂  My family, as usual, was overly generous.  Even my husband was, and I only got him one gift: a Wii. And let’s be honest, that was a self-serving gift! Maybe I will join you in the comment section with a gift list…

Oh, P.S. – Know what else I got this weekend?  A cold.  Hmph.

Bright Copper Kettles and Warm Woolen Mittens…

…These are a few of my favorite things ~ (Happy shopping!)

1. Lilac Slipper Socks | 2. Honey Dipper | 3. Notched Ceramic Bowl  | 4. Copper Tea Kettle |
5. Slouchy Hat |6. Santa’s Key | 7. Nest Ring | 8. Love Mitts

Favorites? Mine, by far, is the key for Santa! And it comes in a custom-made pouch with your family’s name. *LOVE IT*

And of course we’ll add this to yesterday’s Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens

Tomorrow will be…oh, I don’t know..maybe “Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With Strings”?

As always, feel free to send me some of your favorite things to feature here! {Nicole@NicheWhite.com}

Rain Drops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens…

Today is the first day of my nine-part gift guide! Every day will be themed around a line from the song “A Few of My Favorite Things”!

This first line was harder than I thought. I didn’t want to stick to literal interpretations so for today’s gifts I tried to focus on red, love, cozy, and of course I had to include a kitten. 😉

1. Red Tulip Dress | 2. Heart Garland | 3. Paws | 4. Joy Sign | 5. Wool Coat | 6. Half-pint Creamer |
7. Leg Warmers | 8. Fleece Robe | 9. Aquamarine Ring

I really love that coat and it’s super affordable – under $100! And the dress… and the legwarmers…well, I love it all!  What’s your favorite? Tomorrow, naturally, will be “Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens”.

Do you want to play? Pick a line of the song and send me your themed gift guide to go on the blog!
All interpretations welcome. 🙂 Send to: Nicole@NicheWhite.com

Jennifer’s Gift

What an appropriate name for this designer…Unfortunately I don’t really know anything except where you can buy her dresses {and other stuff} and that she picks beautiful fabrics. But I guess in the scheme of pretty things, what else do you really need to know?

I love these florals for a court house civil ceremony or maybe bridesmaids gear~ I can’t begin to tell you how much I adore printed dresses for the ‘maids!

Pink in large doses is not really my thing…until I saw these.  Perfectly matched, not too ‘girly’, very  worthy of wearing to your sophisticated cocktail party welcoming guests to your event.

For my ‘traditional’ readers ~ but still modern and beautiful, of course. 😉

My favorite! It would be lovely on bridesmaids in a formal evening wedding, any time of year.

These dresses are just some of my favorite in the shop, please go check out the site for even more!
