I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For….

…Nutella.  That’s not where you thought I was going, is it?

Over the few months that I have been blogging I’ve gotten some really phenomenal responses to a few specific things: gorgeous dresses, vintage details, real couples, designer wedding cakes, and shoes.  Then yesterday I posted on Twitter and Facebook – not even my blog, keep in mind – about my discovery, and love, of Nutella.  The response was incredible.

In case I wasn’t the last one to find out about it, Nutella is a “hazelnut spread with skim milk and cocoa”.  Truthfully, it’s like chocolate frosting but not as sticky or thick, and very rich.  I haven’t explored too far yet but I know it’s good on bread!  Or if you want to save the carbs, just spoon it straight out of the jar.  I’m not necessarily recommending that – I’m just sayin’.

On Facebook I jokingly stated that I was going to start looking for a baker who frosts wedding cakes with Nutella.  Turns out maybe I wasn’t joking – a local baker reponded that she makes her Italian buttercream with it. Who knew?! And in that vein I’m going to show you some Nutella desserts today that your wedding guests will surely love!
